euRathlon is an outdoor robotics competition which invites teams to test the intelligence and autonomy of their robots in realistic mock emergency-response scenarios.

Inspired by the 2011 Fukushima accident, the euRathlon competition requires a team of land, underwater and flying robots to work together to survey the scene, collect environmental data, and identify critical hazards.

euRathlon/TRADR Summer School 2016

The euRathlon/TRADR summer school on Heterogeneity in Robotics Systems will take  place from 2226 August in Oulu, Finland.

The summer school is co-organised with TRADR EU-FP7 project and it is designed as a five-day course to provide participants with a full overview and hands-on experience with multi-domain real robotic systems for deployment in disaster-response scenarios. Focus will be specifically on multi-modal heterogeneous mapping, semantic analysis and reasoning and (collaborative) planning under uncertainty.

The call for participation is now open!
