Applications should be submitted via email in PDF format to Prof Juha Röning (email@example.com). All applicants must provide a free format letter (max. 2 pages) describing their research.
Participants can optionally present a paper/poster during the summer school. Participants who have submitted a paper will have priority over participants who have not submitted one. For the review, the material for the papers/posters is asked to be provided in the form of a short paper. Submissions should be no more than 4 ISO A4 pages long, including figures, tables and references. Please use IEEE format, templates are available in:
Presentations will be in the form of posters during a dedicated poster session.
The number of participants is limited to a maximum of 40. If more applications are received, participants will be selected based on: the submitted papers/posters, date of application, work area and background.
Students enrolled in EU Universities, EU Research Centres or EU Companies have the possibility of getting travel support. To apply for a travel grant make a free format application giving reasons why support should be given to you. (Include your curriculum vitae and a description of ongoing research related to field robotics. Selection criteria include applicant’s motivation and capability for successfully entering the competitions in the future.) – Registration fee with accommodation: 230€/person
– Registration fee without accommodation: 60€/person
Registration fee of 230€ covers participation in the summer school, accommodation, breakfasts, lunches and local transportation from the prepared accommodation to the facilities where the summer school activities will be held. The accommodation is arranged with holiday cottages shared by 3-4 participants, depending on the size of the cottage.
